Annâdya Project: A successful first Provincial Agri Culture Fair in Banlung
From the 21st to the 23rd of March 2014, the EU-funded Annâdya project organized a Provincial Agri Culture Fair in Banlung. The event has been conducted by Annâdya project partners in Cambodia, Universite Libre de Bruxelles and CEDAC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Provincial Departments of Culture and Arts, Agriculture, Women Affairs, Rural Development, Trade and Tourism of Ratanakiri; as well as UNESCO and Ratanakiri NGOs Network (CANDO, CARE, CEDAC-ILIP, CIYA, DPA, HA, NTFP, PLAN, SCW, SVC, WHH).More than a thousand people attended this successful event.It was initiated by a workshop designed to build the foundations of a permanent event. 300 participants joined in the reflection order to set up responsibilities and share efforts to increase market access for indigenous agricultural and cultural products.
